SHOCKER! Arsenal want Arsene Wenger banned!

In what may come across as a surprise twist, Arsenal are hoping to get their manager Arsene Wenger’s misconduct charge dealt with speedily so Sunday’s FA Cup tie at Nottingham Forest is included in any ban.

The Frenchman has been charged by the FA and has until 6pm today to respond to the charge after he was accused of using foul language on referee Mike Dean in the dressing room on Sunday, after the match official had awarded a penalty against his Arsenal side in the 1-1 draw with West Brom.
And Arsenal’s response to the FA was being finalised on Thursday night in the hope Wenger is sentenced this week and potentially avoids missing an extra Premier League game. Wenger, who is set for a lengthy touchline suspension, is ready to accept the charge to ensure a quick conclusion.
It seems inevitable that Wenger will be handed a ban - with a lengthy touchline suspension the most likely punishment. However, a stadium ban is not being ruled out by the FA, according to the Daily Mail.
