#ENDSARS 32 SARS operatives in detention in Abuja

NO less than 32 agents of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, are presently in detainment, TheCable has detailed. 


A source disclosed to TheCable that the captured officers were moved to Abuja from various state summons amid the end of the week. 

"The suspects, who are on the whole male, are currently being held at different confinement cells of the Federal SARS at Guzape District, Abuja," the source said. 


"Since their landing in Abuja, their relatives and attorneys have not been permitted to see them in light of a request from above," it included. 

The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, who apparently requested their captures, is said to have collected a group of best Police examiners to investigate their cases. 

TheCable discovered that they are being explored for cases extending from blackmail, burglary, assault, among others. The charges where the suspects were serving have been coordinated to answer to Abuja with evidences and display required throughout examination. 

The source said Lagos Command has the most elevated number of suspects, by the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
