American Rapper Snoop Dogg Changes Name

Snoop Dogg says he was "conceived once more" amid a visit to Jamaica in January, and now changing his name to Snoop Lion and is prepared to make music that his "children and grandparents can tune in to." 

The 40-year-old, whose genuine name is Calvin Broadus, Jr., trusts that he is Bob Marley resurrected and is grasping reggae rather than the way of life of weapons he once rapped about. 

He said that in Jamaica, he associated with Bob Marley's soul and is presently 'Bounce Marley resurrected.' "I have a feeling that I've generally been Rastafarian," Snoop said of the otherworldly Jamaican development. 

He additionally expressed that he went to a sanctuary where he was renamed Snoop Lion and was likewise given the Ethiopian name Berhane, signifying 'light of the world.' 

Snoop didn't clarify why he was changing from Dogg to Lion, yet it's presumable a reference to the Lion of Judah, a religious image famous in Rastafarian and Ethiopian culture. 

The previous criminal rapper, known for his licentious verses is discharging a reggae collection called "Resurrected" later in the year. 

On the collection is a track titled "No Guns Allowed" which includes his little girl.
