Breaking News:Another strike again ! as 3 unions in Nigerian universities agree to commence strike

Nigerian colleges will be tossed into emergency again starting from Monday, December 4, as three noteworthy unions will set out on another episode of modern activity. 


Day by day Sun reports that the three non-scholarly staff unions are irate about the sharing recipe of the N23 billion discharged by the national government to settle their stipends. 

The report said the choice to continue the suspended strike was taken at a meeting of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) which is comprised of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), the Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) and the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT). "We composed a letter to the government service of instruction to clarify the criteria for the designation and we gave them seven days notice to do the needful.
