#AnambraDecides- INEC declares APGA's candidate winner of Saturday's election

INEC has announced the incubent governor, Willie Obiano, of APGA as the winner of Saturday's governorship election. 

The election was a conducted in the 21 local government areas of the states. A total of 2,064,134 voters registered, in which only 448,771 voted. And of this votes castes,  Mr. Willie Obiano had a total of 234,071 votes. Theses votes come from all the 21 local government areas. This was followed with a large margin by APC's Tony Nwoye who has 98,752 votes, then,  PDP's Obaze with 70,293 votes. 

The Returning Officer for the election, Zana Akpagu, the Vice Chancellor of University of Calabar, after announcing the results declared Mr. Obiano, the incumbent governor, as winner having polled the highest number of votes in the election.
Mr. Akpagu said that a total 448, 771 votes were cast during the election on Saturday. Of the total votes, 422, 314 were valid while 26,457 were rejected.
