Ondo election: PDP reacts to court's decision on Ibrahim

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed shock at the outcome of its Appeal court case against Jimoh Ibrahim, the candidate of the Ali Modu Sheriff faction of the party.

The Appeal court panel had ruled earlier today, Friday, November 18 that it was adjourning the case indefinitely to let the Supreme Court make its own decision.
The PDP had been confident of obtaining a favourable judgment in the case it brought against Ibrahim after he was declared the legitimate a federal high court presided over by Justice Okon Abang.
The PDP says it is now considering its options and will react appropriately to the outcome of the Appeal court case. “We are not deterred and our great Party, the PDP will respond appropriately,” the party said on its official Twitter handle on Friday night. Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo are set to lead members of All Progressives Congress (APC) from across the country to Akure, Ondo state, on Saturday, November 19.
